AIM CONTROLS, INC. "AIM" is pleased to offer its line of high precision worm gears for Industrial and Astronomical applications. Certain standard size worm gears and worms are available from stock. For other sizes, AIM will provide quotations as per customer specifications. AIM can also provide the following additional services:
a. Mounting of the worm onto a specified shaft;
b. Making a spring-loaded worm assembly;
c. Manufacturing an entire gear box with spring loaded worm assembly.

Pricing Information for example:
*Quantity 1, 9" ALUMINUM worm wheel set, e.g. 1 worm gear and 1 wheel, is $450.
**The same as a BRONZE set is $800

Quantity 1, 19" ALUMINUM worm wheel, and matching worm is $1850.
Quantity pricing for greater than 2 sets is available upon request.

Unless otherwise specified, all of AIM's worm gears are cut with an AGMA 12 "AA" ultra-precision hob. Any worm gear can be made from a choice of hard anodized aluminum (6061 T6), bronze (660) or stainless steel. All worms are cut from stainless steel (304) unless otherwise specified. Please contact AIM for other specifications about shaft materials, bearings, and related items.
