Although most applications can be handled with one of Aim's standard laser tables, Aim understands that many industrial and commercial applicaitons require that the laser solution be custom designed for the particular material and the manufacturing process that it must go through. Standard X,Y tables will just not do the job.
Aim has the in-house electronic, mechanical, and software engineering
capacity for custom changes/designs and specialized laser systems.
Examples include special material handling procedures (e.g.,
spindles, drilling heads, scanning mirrors), Z axis, automatic
focusers, and the integration of a variety of external input/output
devices such as mechanical limit switches, optical position
detectors, Hall effect sensors, solenoids, relays and other
electro-mechanical devices.
The following is a picture of a custom plastic cutting and
welding system built around Aim's standard 48" x 48" table.
It includes a 100 watt air cooled CO2 laser, a 120 watt diode
laser, a liquid dispenser, cooling system, and other special
application equipement.
