Wood (includes veneers and laminates,depending upon required
surface thickness)
Paper (includes cardboard)
Leather (includes smooth finishedand rough)
Plastic (especially good with acrylic, PETG, polycarbonate,
ABS, and Nylon 6)
Steel (thickness depends upon laser power)
Stainless Steel (often used with Molybdenum Oxide compound
for marking)
Ceramics (good with black marbles and granite)
Cloth (most natural cloths and some synthetics)
